Heather Wright has been making a difference in healthcare since 2013. Starting as a Registered Nurse and becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2020, she’s gathered a wealth of experience across emergency medicine, primary care, urgent care, hospice, and pulmonary medicine. But what truly sets Heather apart is her passion for functional medicine — she takes a whole-body, holistic approach to helping her patients feel their best, not just treat symptoms.

When she’s not seeing patients, she’s likely off on an outdoor adventure with her husband and their two kids, whether it’s camping under the stars, kayaking the local springs, or scalloping in the Gulf. Back at home, she enjoys the simple joy of tending to her backyard chickens and soaking up nature’s calm.

As a former Chief Resident at Mercer University School of Medicine, Dr. Patel brings strong leadership and clinical expertise to our team. With a background spanning emergency medicine, urgent care, and family medicine, he is an expert in acute care and well-versed in treating a wide range of conditions. His calm, focused approach and depth of experience make him a trusted provider for patients of all ages.
